This one-day training workshop will provide helpful information for the proper investigation of natural gas-related incidents. Participants will learn the objectives of a detailed investigation, the types of evidence to look for and document, sample collection methods, instrumentation and initial actions that should be taken by the gas company upon arrival at the incident scene. Case studies, AEGIS Lessons Learned® videos and the "Combustion Chamber" form an integral part of the program. As a pre-requisite to this workshop and a help in understanding the basics of natural gas, it is suggested that attendees view the AEGIS video, "Recognizing and Avoiding the Hazards", Chapter 1 - Properties of Natural Gas.
AEGIS member company personnel from operations, compliance, claims, safety, engineering, and those involved in field investigations are welcome to attend this workshop.
The workshop, continental breakfast and lunch are complimentary; however, attendees will be responsible for their own travel and accommodations.
